Contract Duration: 6 months

Purpose & Objective of Position

The purpose of the IT EBC Intern (Executive Briefing Center) position is to provide customer facing local IT support and coverage alongside the EBC Team in the SAP New York Executive Briefing Center. The intern will cover the normal workday support during colleague vacations, lunch breaks and whenever needed.

Expectations & Tasks

* Responsible for onsite troubleshooting and repair of A/V issues
* Responsible for the onsite diagnosis of video conferencing implementations
* Provide pleasant and courteous service during all customer engagements
* Perform Preventative maintenance on Audio Visual rooms
* Responsible for the timely closure of all assigned problems
* Maintain documentation that assists the technical support group. This will include maintenance of troubleshooting scripts as well as general documentation
* Maintain an accurate customer asset database

Skills / Competencies

* Teamwork and cooperation are required
* Must be willing to openly accept new tasks
* Ability to escalate issues appropriately
* Excellent communication skills - oral and written
* Excellent interpersonal skills

Educational Requirements

* Pursuing BS in Computer Science or similar
