In this internship, you will work on automating the analysis and design of engineering algorithms to achieve an optimal trade-off of accuracy and efficiency. Your goal is to advance MathWorks technologies for achieving High Performance Edge Computing. You'll contribute to MathWorks mission of delivering best in class tools for designing edge/embedded systems. Engineers around the globe use MathWorks tools to develop self-driving cars, satellites, and just about anything with compute devices embedded in it. Your contributions to MathWorks automation technologies will help accelerate the pace for bringing smarter and smarter embedded devices to market faster and faster.
Responsibilities
You will work full time with a team of engineers highly experienced in numeric analysis and software development. Mentors will help you understand the problem to be solved and the skills needed. To professionally solve the problem, you will innovate prototypes, conduct software experiments, measure results, develop automation software, and write automated tests. Your mentors will review your work, and help you achieve professional quality results and productivity. A successful candidate will be a quick learner and very nimble with software development technologies. A successful candidate will be comfortable taking responsibility to deliver large software projects with high levels of independence.
Minimum Qualifications
* Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline. * Proficiency with software development
