Job Description

Responsibilities

The candidate selected will support a federal law enforcement customer by developing and supporting processes to identify, collect, define, aggregate, conceptualize, and prioritize strategic and near-term requirements within the organizations mission.

The candidate will support the customer by providing advice and guidance on security issues affecting business process and procedures exploitable by insiders including but not limited to:

* Promotes the awareness of security issues among management
* Conduct regular threat cycle reviews to assess shifting and emerging threats and associated vulnerabilities
* Coordinates with FBI entities to assess and mitigate key vulnerabilities
* Briefs senior customer leadership including executive management
* Identifies impacts and effects of study findings and makes recommendations
* Maintains central database of corporate assets and relevant information regarding those assets
* Routinely reviews and assesses most critical assets and those with high vulnerabilities.
* Assesses and improves the effectiveness of programs, complex management processes and systems and procedures.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Knowledge of network protocols, network security, and automated vulnerability scanning tools
* Familiarization of IT Monitoring tools
* Proficient with Risk Assessment Tools (RiskVision or similar)
* Critical Thinker
* Advanced Degree (Masters or higher)
* 15 years relevant experience
* TS/SCI

Desired Qualifications:

* 20 years' experience in national security or security-related matters with emphasis on IT.
* Proficient understanding of security risk management
* Security Related Cert (CISSP or similar)
* Experience Intelligence-focused operation environment
* TS/SCI with CI Poly
