Project Duration: Consulting Position, 12 months

Project Location: Washington DC

Job Title: Integration Engineer

Description:

Serve as senior architect / engineer in charge of a scrum team of architects and engineers responsible for working though transition to Cerner Millenium. Provide data architecture and development and solution support. Provide support to the program based on situational need. Provide mentoring and oversight to Development and PMO contracts to ensure they follow the CTO's vision.

Required Qualifications:

* Minimum of 15 years of experience. Minimum of 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements
* Ability to create strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained
* Able to coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed
* Experienced in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks
* Cost conscience addressing goals
* Understanding of DoDAF and UML
* Ability to conduct modeling in Rational Software Architect and MS Visio
* Ability to function as a technical lead for a multi-disciplinary Scrum team
* Ability to work with little direction to specific defined deliverables
* Knowledge of high level architecture and design support for complex system implementations
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent discipline is required
