We love old school technology like PERL, our teams love what we can do with Java and Python and some of our applications talk in XML. We encourage using the right tool for the job, not just the stuff mandated by corporate so if you have a toolset that you love, we want to know what it is because maybe we will love it, too.

We work extensively with database technologies like Oracle, MySQL and Postgres (our favorites) but we know MSSQL, too. We've worked a lot with SOAP but know that REST is where it's at. We work with vendor provided applications as our core, and we have a lot of fun building around them and making them talk and integrate with our SAAS applications.

We move data around, make systems talk to each other, give old applications new life and sometimes we design stuff from the ground up because it's the right thing to do. We're looking to be flexible for the future, which means moving some stuff to the cloud and leaving some things at home, so if you're a fan of AWS and what it offers then you'll get the opportunity to play.

The Integration Developer will design, develop, test, and support cutting-edge technology initiatives as well as learn the existing stack. There will be opportunities to work with several teams and you will be touching multiple initiatives. Opportunities include:

* Working in an agile environment where we ship functionality frequently.
* Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
* Building subject-matter knowledge of vendor application functionality, nuances and database schemas.
* Building next-generation functionality to bolt on to existing application stacks.
* Providing support of defects in existing projects as well as new implementations.
* Ensuring project tools, techniques, and methods are effective and up-to-date.
* Assisting in the review of all designs within the project portfolio to ensure overall consistency with each other and with the architecture direction of the environment.
* Willing to learn from senior team members and to share knowledge.

Job Requirements

* Technical school degree in an appropriate technical field or a four-year college degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
* At least one year of development experience.
* Experience in working with teams to deliver technology projects on time and within budget, and the ability to work on multiple projects at once.
* Experience in supporting a variety of business application areas.
* Familiarity with networking principles and the basic components of the Linux and Windows network stack.
* Familiarity with modern security principles and secure communications (e.g. SSH)
* Experience with Unix Shell Scripting (including ENV manipulation)
* PERL
* SQL (Mysql / Oracle) / noSQL (MongoDB / Elasticsearch )
* Oracle PL/SQL programming experience.
* Git source code management
* Python is a plus
