Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Performs software and application installation and upgrades.
* Troubleshoots networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
* Installs and repairs desktops and laptops.
* Maintains network printers and scanners.
* Supports mobile devices such as iPads and iPhones.
* Investigates basic user problems, identifies their source, determines possible solutions, tests and implements solutions.
* Helps to anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures.
* Establishes and performs routine maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
* Ensures timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability.
* Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
* May assist other technical teams in on-site tasks when local resources are not present.
* Documents technical problems and resolutions for future reference.
* Works with other IT professionals as directed to coordinate efforts, resolve cross-team issues and communicate changes.

Required Qualifications:

* Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and two to four years of related experience.
* Must be proficient with Windows desktop operating systems, as well as Dell hardware.
* Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook.
* Must have a solid understanding of network communications.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication as well as customer service skills.
* Must have the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
* Must have excellent time management skills.
* Must be able to obtain secret clearance
* Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with end users by telephone and email.

Desired Qualifications:

* BitLocker and Windows Hello support
* OneDrive, Skype for Business and Office 365 experience
* Cisco Call Manager experience
