Infrastructure Sr Manager

Daily Responsibilities

Deliver software solutions that improve business decision making and management of the network environment. Mainly focusing on network automation via the creation of network tools

Scripts and supporting many already standing portals and applications that interface with a variety of network and information security appliances. Support for both existing infrastructure and new.

Daily Tasks

* Participate sprint planning and retrospective meetings
* Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following a scrum agile methodology.
* Perform and participate in code reviews.
* Paired and Individual programming
* Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
* Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Requisite Knowledge Base

* 5+ years developing software solutions with an object oriented programming language such as java C# .NET etc.
* 2+ years building modern responsive web user interfaces using ReactJS or Angular web frameworks (V2.0 or higher)
* Ability to write production ready code
* 5+ years building Relational (SQL) and Non-relational databases (NOSQL)
* Knowledge of Perl SQL PHP JavaScript or other scripting languages.
* Knowledge of application performance analysis tools and other mechanisms for maximizing application performance across enterprise networks.
* Language Skills: English required at a high level anything beyond English is a plus.

Experience with one or more of the below is a plus:

* Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches WANs (T1 T3 MPLS)
* 2+ years of automating network management processes (OS Upgrades configuration changes etc.) with HPNA Solar winds with some type of scripting knowledge.
* Knowledge of 3 of the following routing protocols: EIGRP BGP OSPF RIP
* Cisco NSO Netconf/Yang models
