The Ask

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our talented Infrastructure team. In this role you will work in a collaborative environment that encourages you to perform at your best, and challenges you to find new and creative ways to solve business challenges. Previous work in healthcare or healthcare related fields or other regulated environments a plus.

Responsibilities

* Provide hands-on engineering, administration and technical support.
* Perform diagnostics of problems, troubleshoot and develop solutions for customer issues.
* Hands on experience supporting and administering enterprise SAN/NAS environments (EMC/Dell)
* Hands on experience supporting mixed Windows and Linux environments
* Hands on experience in automating VM and server provisioning
* Experience with system management/monitoring technologies (SCCM/SCOM)
* Maintaining VM templates, including maintaining and keeping them current
* Server and system backup experience and design (Veeam, Zerto)
* Scripting experience, knowledge, and expertise
* Active Directory, DHCP, DNS & GPO management
* Server provisioning and administration
* Automated patching and upgrading
* Security and related technologies (secure server configurations, SIEM, IDS/IPS)
* HIPAA/HITECH or highly regulated environment experience
* Knowledge of ITIL processes, change mgmt. experience
* Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills and a passion for problem solving.
* Must have the ability to work as a team member or individually to complete tasks thoroughly and accurately with general supervision.
* Experience with LAN/WAN, switching, wireless, routing and firewalls (Cisco)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

* Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Linux/Unix and Microsoft
* Experience with scripting and automation technologies
* Ability to conceptualize complex requirements, think logically and creatively, work on tasks simultaneously, and be very detail oriented
* Ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals (subject matter experts, system users, developers, support personnel)
* Desire to do what it takes to meet team commitments bringing a story to the "Done" state

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or related field, or relevant work experience
* 6-10 years of infrastructure experience
