REQUIRED: high school diploma or its equivalent; three years of relevant IT technical experience; experience supporting a variety of business applications, desktop and mobile technologies, or enterprise systems; experience using customer support systems; strong diagnostic and analytical skills; working knowledge of current technologies; initiative; ability to manage a high volume of work; tact and good judgment with confidential information; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team orientation; ability to provide a strong customer service base for all organizational technology needs; willingness to learn about new technologies and take on new challenges; experience with Apple computers and Microsoft Office and FileMaker Pro software. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ANALYST II, Resource Development (RD)-Information Technology (RD-IT), to maintain a range of applications and solutions to support Resource Development and advancement staff throughout MIT. Will work directly with clients via phone, email, and in person to identify and resolve issues; work with RD team members and Institute technical staff, accurately describing problems, resolving and/or escalating where necessary, and then translating technical answers into user-friendly responses; and work with a broad range of products, information resources and systems, and business processes to provide moderately complex maintenance and support which includes investigation, diagnosis, escalation/resolution, and recovery for support requests. In serving as a member of the RD-IT team, will be expected leverage technical and/or business expertise to work on one or more projects concurrently, either independently or as part of a team. Will be expected to quickly learn and understand software applications, systems, and Resource Development business processes.
