Job Description SummaryAegon's Global Information Security Office (GISO) delivers certain information security programs across all Aegon business units. Specifically the GISO team establishes and maintains the information security policy and standards; overall information security governance, risk, and compliance; metrics; and portions of third party information security, crisis management, awareness & training, as well as deploys a global Security Operations Center. In addition, there is a strong connection with the local business unit information security teams to cohesively work together to deliver the suite of information security services to Aegon.

The primary focus of this role is the maintenance, development and presentation of Information Security metrics, KRI and KPIs in support of the global Information Security Programme. Information Security metrics will be used to inform decision making and risk management processes within security, IT and business operations. This role will establish and maintain routines for the collection, analysis and presentation of information security metrics, and be key in ensuring that the security metrics mature and develop in line with the requirements of the business.Job Description

Responsibilities:

This individual will have day to day responsibilities to:

* Manage the routine delivery of security metrics through the maintenance and development of data inputs, KRI, KPIs and dashboards, using business intelligence tools
* Work with the data providers to manage the collection and consolidation of information in an efficient manner
* Manage the processes and procedures that support the delivery of accurate and timely global metrics dashboards
* Assist with and in some cases lead in the presentation of metrics to technical and non-technical audiences
* Communicate and promote the security metrics and dashboards to key stakeholders outside of information security (e.g. Risk, Service Providers, Business Units)
* Work with key stakeholders to ensure that business needs are being met and to identify opportunities for further improvement and collaboration
* Assist other teams in the information security function in the development of operational metrics
* Provide subject matter expertise on data analysis best practices and tools

In addition, responsibilities may extend into other information security domains such as:

* Provide input to more general information security office activities - e.g. security working groups, security programme development
* Assist in the assessment of new third party tools and services, with a view to their utility in providing input to data and metrics
* Other duties as assigned based on department and organizational needs

Qualifications:

* Bachelor degree in Data Analysis, Statistics, Computer Science or other relevant degree from an accredited university. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Relevant work experience, including experience with information technology operations and programme delivery.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

* Strong investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills
* An effective communicator capable of collaborating and building credibility with key stakeholders
* Strong organizational awareness and a collaborative attitude in order to build successful relationships
* Ability to design and implement interactive reports using a range of BI technologies
* Strong knowledge of IT and information security concepts, management and tools
* Risk management, compliance or audit background helpful
* Excellent time management
* Team oriented
* Strong project management skills
* Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
* Deadline driven
* A recognized information security qualification (e.g. CISSP, CISM) would be useful but is not required
