In this role you will be responsible for the systems architecture and solution delivery of advanced automation solutions across applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams helping them with automation and also provide mentorship for junior automation engineers. In addition to your automation responsibilities, 30% of your time will be spent providing the application hosting needs of the organization

Job Responsibilities

* Helping to build and maintain core internet infrastructure
* Leverage configuration management to drive automation and move us to an immutable infrastructure
* Automate setup and maintenance of environments using scripting languages including but not limited to PowerShell / C#
* Implement automation frameworks in collaboration with other team members and providing guidance and mentoring as needed
* Work in a cross-functional setup helping other teams see the benefits of automation and develop tools and documentation to help teams across all vertical functions
* Oversee the Web Server infrastructure, user access and application deployment. Support the installation, configuration, security, operation, and maintenance of all web portal servers, equipment, and software related to Web Server infrastructure.
* Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new application initiatives or existing application maintenance. Exposure to DevOps culture is highly desired.
* Provide input on systems architecture, carry out maintenance tasks and perform root cause analysis on new or unidentified failure modes.
* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, while a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Basic (Minimum) Qualifications

* At least 5+ years of proven work experience in relevant field
* Experience working in highly available multi-tiered server application environments.
* Extensive systems administration experience on the Windows Server 2012r2 / 2016 platform and exposure to Linux is a plus.
* Experience with UrbanCode Deploy, Jenkins or similar deployment automation tools.
* Grasp of automation tools and experience working in a DevOps culture; sharing responsibilities with developers
* Experience creating automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell / C# or Python.
* Hands-on experience with tools such as SysInternals, DebugDiag, Windbg, Wireshark, Message Analyzer.
* Experience with Container or VM based hosting.
* Experience in web infrastructure design and operations including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, STP, load balancing, clustering, firewall rules, failover, monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tuning, etc.
* Experience in architecting system-level solutions for Internet/Intranet solutions.
* Possess high aptitude for problem solving and trouble-shooting both independently and as part of DevOps team
* Full-stack background is a plus
