GENERAL INFORMATION

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Data Systems Bureau, Sheriff's Data Network (SDN) unit is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Information Systems Analyst II. The position is responsible for all aspects of Systems Administration such as computer desktop and server baseline, hardware and software troubleshooting, firewall setup and configuration and Active Directory and infrastructure design. This position is located at the Imperial Center, 12440 Imperial Highway, Suite B-190, Norwalk, CA 90650.

Essential Job Functions

DUTIES

Work with senior systems administration staff to setup hardware servers, desktop baselines (imaging), desktop hardware troubleshooting and other server and desktop configuration management work.

Candidates must currently hold the position of Information Systems Analyst II.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate should be a highly motivated person who has strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.

* Two (2) years of paid experience in the following areas: Systems Administration, hardware and software support, and baseline software support;
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility Suite desirable;
* Systems Center Configuration Manager knowledge and experience;
* SQL Server setup, configuration management, and query language experience desirable;
* McAfee Web Gateway knowledge desirable;
* User support on desktop hardware, software including Microsoft Software Suite;
* Experience in supporting smartphone mobile devices will be a plus.
