Job Description

Description:This position is for an Information Assurance Engineer working for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services (EBS) in the Aeronautics Information Security Office group. This position provides Information Security support and services to the Aeronautics Business Area and will be responsible for maintaining and maturing the level of information security and driving risk reduction initiatives.

As a member of the Aero IT Information Security Intelligence & Operations team, the selected candidate will be responsible for focusing on the design of secure Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) implementation initiatives, assessing the risk posture of various extranet environments, performing threat modeling activities, and working with experts across Aeronautics, Aero IT and EBS to provide secure technical solutions for multiple projects. Additionally, it is expected that the selected candidate will perform research and analysis for implementing secure solutions for existing and innovative technologies, perform assessments on Aeronautics extranet environments, develop metric reports and remediation strategies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Working with stakeholders within the Aeronautics Business Area, Aero IT and EBS as needed to ensure the security posture of the business

The ability to manage the cyber security assessment & analysis process and identify risk to the security posture of perimeter facing environments

The ability to assess industrial infrastructures and identify the security scope for IIoT devices

The ability to perform threat modeling assessment/analysis on various Aeronautics environments

The ability to perform security test utilizing various security scanning tools for projects as needed

The selected candidate will work directly with LM Aeronautics employees, customers, and partners. Candidates should have 7-9 years of information security or information technology experience and be a U.S. citizen in order to obtain secret level clearance. Additionally, a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field is required.

This position will be located at the Aeronautics Fort Worth, TX facility however the Marietta, GA facility is possible.

Basic Qualifications:

▪ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related

▪ Demonstrable experience conducting security risk assessments

▪ Excellent understanding & experience with security engineering & threat modeling

▪ Demonstrable knowledge of computer vulnerabilities, exploits, and remediation strategies

▪ Demonstrable experience with security engineering architectures, processes, and concepts

▪ Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with audiences of various levels

▪ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

▪ Demonstrable experience working on complex programs, projects

▪ Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

▪ Active Secret Clearance

▪ Ability to work on new concepts and technologies

▪ Comfortable utilizing vulnerability scanning tools

▪ CISSP Certification
