Zendesk is hiring experienced Industry Solution Architects to help sell our vertical industry solutions in Media and Communications, Retail, Telecommunications, High-Tech, and Financial Services.

You would be a deep product and industry expert, who collaborating with our sales executives and solutions consultants, would help develop sales strategies and solutions that address customer needs in new and existing accounts. This role will interact primarily with Global 1000 (Enterprise) clients and will require effective communication skills, the ability to deliver forward-thinking solutions as demonstrations and confident knowledge of the related industry processes and standard methodologies.This role requires that you be experienced and versed in working with deals of all sizes and comfort interacting with levels ranging from individual contributor to CEOs of large corporations. Primary responsibilities include:- Providing pre-sales / solution consulting leadership in a teaming environment.- Articulating the Zendesk value proposition and vision.- Build and deliver executive solution presentations that are future-thinking, compelling and most importantly, relevant to the specific business processes of the customer/ prospect, built using Zendesk platform and entire product suite.- Developing technical peer relationships in key accounts to align vision, strategy and long term execution.- Blueprint the technology footprint with existing systems and platforms.Prior experience working with CRM applications or other Industry applications is preferred, along with deep industry expertise in the target vertical.

* Influence product direction by providing customer feedback to the product management, engineering and ISV teams
* Influence and guide partner strategy for key accounts to guide adoption and delivery roadmap
* Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product development, professional services, and customer success teams.
* Provide recommendations for overcoming technical/solution sales objections
* Be the multiplier by making those around you successful; you are comfortable working as a phenomenal teammate and a mentor in a fast growing organization
* Chip in to building a positive, can-do, fast-growing mindset & culture.

What you bring with you:

* 10+ years of sales consulting/solution architecture experience
* Proven success as a sales consultant at other software companies
* Industry domain experience is required
* Experience working in a dynamic, agile company and sales team
* Deep understanding of modern systems architecture including on-premise and cloud-based systems
* Technical proficiency with system configuration and setup
* Familiarity with modern web and mobile front-end systems including the tools, processes, and technologies behind a company's digital strategy (for example Angular, CSS and Javascript)
* Expert knowledge of the complete sales lifecycle with extensive experience responding to sales RFIs / RFPs and configuring software demos at very high levels of quality
* Capability to translate business requirements into compelling
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
* Industry certifications
