Job Description

Responsibilities:

* Conduct initial, formal incident reporting and document technical details of the incident and remediation.

Resolve incidents by scoping, containing and eradicating incidents using established processes.
* Make recommendations to protect the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN).
* Support the transition of network defense configurations. Experienced with SEIM products (McAfee Nitro, ePO, HBSS agent, ArcSight, SPLUNK).
* Experienced with Wireshark. Network and host level analysis.
* Able to identify, validate, and respond to cyber incidents.
* Able to recommend mitigation actions to protect MCEN interests.


* Shift work.

Required Experience:

Experience in SNORT, McAfee ESM, and HBSS. CISA, CISSP, CASP, GCIH, or GCED, and CND Auditor certified, or in process of getting certified.

At least 5 years progressive demonstrated experience in defensive cyber analysis.

Required Clearance:

Position requires Top Secret security clearance at start of work.
