As an Implementation Engineer at Interana, you'll be part of the Customer Success team, playing a key role in the deployment of the Interana application with customers and help them get the most business value through project-based work. You will work directly with customers, our support team, and account managers to

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Interface with our Sales and Customer Success organizations to plan and implement an Interana installation according to the sales contract and Solution Design documents
* Work with a customer's data engineering team to create data ingestion pipelines into Interana
* Create queries and dashboards with customers who are using Interana features for the first time
* Provide ad-hoc and prepared training and coaching for customers who need hands-on help
* Analyze and troubleshoot problems with customer data or clusters, in conjunction with Support
* Advocate customer needs and feedback internally to inform product vision and roadmap.

REQUIREMENTS:

* 5+ years as a Solution Engineer (preferred), Implementation Consultant, or Support Engineer or Software Developer with experience leading projects and/or working with customer
* Hands-on, high-energy, passionate and creative problem solver with know how to get things done and ability to lead others to success.
* Passion for working with customers and delivering solutions
* Technical aptitude to understand, learn, and perform hands-on analytical and technical tasks with all layers of the Interana product
* Excellent communication skills, written and presentation
* Basic experience with databases, SQL, and Linux command-line interface
* Practical Programming experience with Python, JavaScript, or other programming / scripting languages
* Ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver the maximum value to customers
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Availability to travel up to 25% within the US

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience with data analytics to provide business insights
* Experience collaborating with project managers internally and externally
* Knowledge of cloud architecture and deployments
* Consulting experience in the software industry
* Experience with Project Management and planning
