NTT DATA Services currently seeks a I.T. Services Solutions Architect/Consultant to join our team in New York City, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

This Solution Architect Consulting role will have the responsibility to translate customer's business requirements into specific systems, applications and/or process designs for custom technical solutions. This individual will work with customers to analyses their requirements from an Industry domain point of view and design integrated innovative solutions to meet their objectives and balance the needs of sales and delivery to design a solution that meets or exceeds the requirements of service delivery.

Responsibilities:

* Contributes to the sales pursuit strategy and driving the sales cycle together with the sales teams
* Lead the design of multiple service areas or technologies within a broader services solution
* Participate or lead customer presentations at the senior management level or higher
* Provide proactive technical counsel to CIO and key IT executives on technical strategy, direction and projects
* Create solution design assets for internal use to accelerate sales cycles and positively impact solutions quality
* Develops and leads execution of the technical risk management plan and identifies/resolves potential issues for the desired solution being implemented
* Participates in exploratory activities into new market sectors, architectural solutions, technologies and the use of business partners
* Leads selection of methodologies, tools and components of total architectural solutions; exhibits strategic vision; influences people & organizations, including client and NTT DATA

Requirements:

* 8 plus years of I.T. Services technical and functional solution architect experience to include developing solutions across a broad portfolio of Applications, Business Process Outsourcing, Digital, Infrastructure, Cloud & Security
* Possess Financial Services, Banking, or Capital Markets industry domain experience/knowledge
* 5 plus years leading the development of complex Services solutions related to new business and deal pursuits
* Led collaboration efforts between sales/business development teams and technical/functional subject matter experts focused on constructing value-add solutions for customer proposals
* Conducted negotiations with engagement partners and team members (vendors, subcontractors, customers, internal stake holders) to define solution objectives, deliverables, and strategies for obtaining them
* Communication and customer interaction experience presenting to all levels of business, technical, and executive decision makers
* Able to travel up to 40%
