Job Description

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain finance and workforce applications, related metadata (Hierarchies) and data integrations


* Manage financial system close cycles


* Maintain business rules, consolidations, calculation scripts, reports and forms


* Maintain workflows, task lists, user security


* Perform data validations and investigate data discrepancies


* Monitor jobs and provide level 1 support


* Provide end user training, support during the financial close


* Document business processes, requirements, functional specs, compliance reports


* Recommend process improvements as opportunities are identified


* Collaborate with Technology team on projects, platform maintenance


* Analyze and assist in designing solutions to ensure system functionality aligns with business processes



Experience and Competencies

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or Information Systems or related field


* Certification in Hyperion Essbase or Hyperion planning desired


* 5 years of Hyperion Planning/Essbase/DRM/HFM/FDMEE experience


* 5 years of experience with Financial Reporting


* Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS) experience is huge plus


* Knowledge of Oracle EBS financials


* Knowledge of BI and related tools to complement Hyperion-based reporting and analytics


* Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, SmartView


* Strong understanding of Financial and Accounting processes, GAAP and IFRS principles


* Ability to manage competing demands and thrive in a dynamic environment


* Energetic and self-motivated professional with excellent interpersonal, planning, communication, documentation and organizational skills
