Overview

The HTML Email Designer will work as a part of The Digital Alchemy, A TravelClick Company, Email Marketing Campaign team to support email marketing efforts for customers. He/she will maintain standards of excellence and is expected to work exclusively with the Email Marketing Campaign Coordinator and Programming team to create, test, and publish marketing emails. This position is fast-paced as client offers are very timely and sensitive in nature. He/she focuses on above-average results, sets high standards for one's performance and visibly strives for success.

Responsibilities

* Produce prototypes for marketing email templates using Adobe Photoshop
* Convert designed prototype template into working HTML for email
* Take direction/guidance from Account Managers and Senior Developers on designs, redesigns and maintenance tasks
* Update and/or troubleshoot existing HTML emails
* Assist in proofing and testing emails

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

* High school Diploma/GED required
* 1+ years' experience in email development
* Ability to understand and code emails using HTML & CSS and appreciate the challenges associated with this as well as experience working with email service providers
* Knowledgeable in Adobe Suite, particularly Dreamweaver and Photoshop
* Knowledgeable in email best practices
* Graphic design skills required
* Microsoft Office Software knowledge (Basic)

* Previous responsive or scalable email development
* Creative marketing experience
* Testing and troubleshooting emails in with a 3rd party provider such as Email on Acid or Litmus
* Web form design and coding skills
* Ability to multi-task and navigate among several projects simultaneously
* Ability to operate across dual systems consistently
* Process oriented and detail oriented
* Highly motivated, self-starter
* Thrive in collaborative/team environment
