Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an HRIS Analyst to join the HR Service Center team in Germantown, MD. This role reports to the HRIS Manager and is part of the Management Services operating group. The primary responsibility of the HRIS Analyst is working within the HRIS as a system administrator, managing tables, imports, and interfaces. The role will also have the opportunity to work with people data ranging from extracting and/or analyzing data and processing transactions in the HR and Payroll systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Interface with the HRIS vendor (ADP EV5) to troubleshoot, escalate as needed, and resolve system issues


* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, review, test, and implement HRIS upgrades; also gather requirements for system and/or interface setups and modifications


* Build complex ad-hoc reports from ADP's reporting tool; extract data and distribute scheduled reports


* Process import files for high volume employee data changes and other transactions


* Analyze data, track metrics, and identify trends in order to prepare reports and present findings


* Audit data on a regular basis and troubleshoot/correct discrepancies if needed


* Assist in developing strategies, processes, and procedures to support the HRIS Team and the data needs of our customers


* Train HRIS end users on processes and functionality


* Act in a team lead capacity in responding to system-related inquiries from the HRIS Team


* Liaise between HR and Payroll to resolve issues on employee data changes


* Support other HR and Business Systems that link to HRIS, including, but not limited to Employee Self-Service, Resume Database, Kenexa Brass Ring hiring and onboarding module, etc.


* Regular review, tracking, reporting, and follow up of I-9 status ensuring compliance with related regulations


* Assist in wage garnishment and child support order processing



Minimum Requirements

* US Citizenship


* Mid-level position with 4-5 years of experience working with databases or HR/Payroll systems


* Four-year degree in HR, IT, Finance or related major (relevant experience may be substituted for a degree)


* Experience in data extraction through a reporting platform and system administrator tasks


* Advanced knowledge of Excel, specifically data manipulation and formula (vLookups and pivot tables)


* Successful individual in this role has excellent attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and communication skills



Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with ADP EV5 and Deltek/CostPoint platforms is a plus


* Experience working for a large, global employer and/or a federal contractor is a plus
