This role would be responsible for simple and basic analysis of Human Resources Technology business needs,
development, implementation and maintenance of Workday HRIS (human resources information system)
including but not limited to activities around the collection, retrieval, access and usage of employee
information. This role will manage distributed and disparate employee data within Workday HRIS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* HELP DESK / USER SUPPORT - Provide techno-functional support for day-to-day HRIS user requests at tier 1 and/or tier 2 level and escalates using Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) for Issue Management * MAINTENANCE - Maintain Workday data consistency and integrity by providing oversight and problem resolution * Responsible for performance, maintenance and updating of Workday * Partner with the HR team to review system configurations and processes to ensure appropriateness and efficiency * Partner with Workday and service provider vendors to troubleshoot when issues arise * Develop periodic channels to Inform, Educate and Update HR team on system changes so key functions in order to perform necessary job functions * Lead Workday updates * REPORTING - Assists with gathering functional requirements for reporting. * Analyze reporting needs to ensure a full understanding of report requirements and create ad-hoc reports for the organization as requested * Complete monthly headcount report * WORKDAY SECURITY ADMIN - Administers basic HRIS security support through defining and assigning appropriate levels of access for all system users, provide Internal Audit quarterly access reports * USER EDUCATION - Design and develop, simple/basic user guides and general user learning materials fit- for purpose * BUSINESS PROCESS DESIGN & DOCUMENTATION - Assists with business requirements gathering and documentation * OTHERS - Communicate benefit eligibility to vendors through files created and maintained in the HRIS * Gather user requirements, analyze and distill functional and technical requirements for HRIS * Explore new system functionality and deploy if necessary
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
* At least 2 - 5 years experience in HR field or similar combination of education and work experience * * Basic knowledge of HR functional practices, procedures * Basic knowledge of HR Technology
Workday HRIS HCM familiarity
