Job Description

TASC, An Engility Company, requires a subject matter expert in the area High Performance Computing (HPC) to provide SETA support to a national customer. The individual will provide system engineering and program management for an HPC environment that provides multi-agency collaboration. The SETA will advise the Government on potential problem areas, produce and present alternatives, and recommend courses of action to fulfill rapidly evolving requirements within a HPC center serving a diverse and expansive community of interest.

This position requires interaction and collaboration with multiple offices and customers across the broader Intelligence Community (IC), and the Department of Defense (DoD). The SETA must possess a basic understanding of Information technology (IT) principles and practices as applied within a data center environment, and broad experience in interactions with the IC and the DoD. The nature of the HPC center is such that requirements and priorities change rapidly, and the SETA would be required to balance requirements against programmatic capabilities while aggressively supporting the interests of the intelligence and defense sectors.

This candidate will support advanced technology research accomplished using robust modeling, simulation, visualization, and data processing through a world-class HPC center. These capabilities must interoperate seamlessly and without processing or data flow bottlenecks across multiple security levels. The candidate will be integrated into the customer program office, providing expert technical and programmatic support, as well as oversight of some prime contractor activities.
