Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Respond to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solutions.
o Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
o Respond to queries either in person, email, through online chat or over the phone.
o Write training manuals for end users.
o Train computer users.
o Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
o Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
o Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
o Procurement of IT equipment and software.
o Onboarding and offboarding of employees.
o Proven experience as a help desk technician
o Tech savvy with working knowledge of Apple and Dell hardware, macOSX and Windows 10 operating systems.
o Experience using System Management tools like JAMF and/or KACE.
o Experience supporting cloud based applications like GSuite, Office365, Dropbox, Slack, Confluence and JIRA.
o Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and networking.
o Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
o Excellent communication skills.
o Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.
