In this unique opportunity, Help Desk Specialist will have the opportunity to learn the basic infrastructure of a large scale healthcare system. This is a great position for anyone looking into getting in the field of Information Technology. We do provide in class and on the job training. You will be assisting the Help Desk through a large IT upgrade. After the three month assignment, you will have the opportunity to stay on with the float pool to discover other career paths throughout UCLA Health. the description on the Internal tab.

* This is a 3 month limited appointment with potential to convert to a career position or administrative float pool position as available

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree is desired, a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology is highly desired. Strong technical or computer background. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work a weekends, holidays, flexible schedule and varied hours. Quick learner, easy to adapt and positive attitude.
