Perspecta has a need for a Health Services Data Warehouse Developer located in Washington, DC.

We are looking for a Data Warehouse Developer, in a cybersecurity environment, who will provide business analysts, data scientists and reporting and analysis tools with timely and accurate data. In this role, you'll take ownership of bringing that data together in a data warehouse to enable reporting and analysis activities. In addition, you'll assist the team in accessing and making sense of data in its raw form. Must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams.

Responsibilities

* The candidate will manage and enhance the data warehousing environment and to take it through the future iterations


* Establish the long-term strategy and technical architecture for the data warehouse


* Define and implement technical requirements, technical and data architectures for the data warehouse


* Design and manage the ETL process, including data quality and testing


* Design and manage the information access and delivery effort for the data warehouse


* Define and manage the implementation of security requirements for the data warehouse


* Define and implement production release requirements and sustainment architecture


* Demonstrated ability to produce high quality technical documentation



Qualifications

* 5+ years overall industry experience leading complex projects


* 5+ years data warehousing and OLTP design/development, knowledge of patterns/practices


* 5+ years data integration/ETL experience using dynamic scripting languages (python, ruby) and ETL tools


* Experience w/ columnar data stores


* Experience with Oracle database architecture, MDM, defining tablespaces, partitioning, indexing, etc.


* Experience with SQL and PL/SQL programming w/ focus on performance optimization for both ETL and queries


* 2+ years developing analytic and reporting solutions using Tableau and Jasper or like technologies


* Experience with Agile/SCRUM practices and source control systems (Git)


* BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field desired
