A solid computer engineering background (MS in computer engineering or equivalent degree preferred).
* 3+ years of development experience for new hardware
* Previous software development experience in all stages of a release cycle (design, implement, and test) with ability to cover multiple job roles.
* Good communication skills
* Solid debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills

The right candidate for this role is a highly motivated hardware Engineer with understanding of software.
The candidate should have good coding skills, with some understanding of driver development and firmware development. The successful candidate should have familiarity with some or all of the following: firmware development, driver development, network sockets, platform initialization, peripherals such as PCIe, I2C, SPI, USB, UARTs.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Develop and run system level test cases for these hardware components both in lab and production cloud environments.
* Lead cross-functional team root-cause investigations. Experience with lab debug will be a plus
* Drive cross-functional quality improvements focused on robust design
* Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in teams.
