What You'll Get to Do:

As part of our newly created Data Center Services Team, you will provide Hardware Engineering support to the IT operations of the Data Center in Manassas, VA. Additional opportunities are available in our Data Center in Warrenton, VA. This a 24 X 7 environment and multiple shifts are available including days, mids, and nights. These positions require current TS/SCI Poly.

More About the Role:

* Responsible for hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
* Perform operating system installation
* Provide break/fix support including component replacement
* Support the deployment of data center infrastructure including server rack/stack/cabling, network devices, and troubleshooting deployment issues
* Utilize and understand the ticket management process, including ticket prioritization, resolution and escalation as needed
* Work independently or with little guidance providing data center support.
* May be called upon to lead or manage tasks
* You will be required to obtain Server+, Network+ and APS certification for server support within 60 days

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

* Typically requires Bachelors degree and two years experience supporting IT equipment and related technology. Additional experience may be substituted for degree
* Knowledge of Data Center operations and hardware including installation, maintenance and support
* Knowledge of Data Center systems and policies
* Experience utilizing ticket management systems
* Current TS/SCI Poly

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Current Security+, Network+ or APS certification
