Position Summary

Provide leadership and deep technical expertise in all aspects of solution design and application development for specific business environments. Focus on setting technical direction on groups of applications and similar technologies as well as taking responsibility for technically robust solutions encompassing all business, architecture, and technology constraints. May be responsible for coordinating teams to accomplish development in a matrixed organization. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience

Required Skills

* Ability to manage mobile development teams from project planning to project launch
* Comprehensive experience in reviewing and writing Design Specifications for the development team to implement.
* Provide expertise in review of code from the mobile engineering team(s)
* Experience in and ability to debug hard problems.
* Management expertise to ensure the team delivers product on time, budget and on spec.
* Ability to collaborate with QA to facilitate automated testing of our mobile applications.
* Staying abreast on the latest feature of Mobile Platforms and think about ways they apply to our products.
* Ability to collaborate with UX designers to ensure their choices meet the needs of our mobile applications.
* Ability to build a cross platform code base so our applications are available on the most popular platforms and devices.
* Ensure the mobile development team is complying with our coding and engineering processes. Excellent written and spoken communication skills

* Engineering Team Management - 3+ years of experience
* Application Development Lead or Management experience (iOS and Android) - 5+ years of experience
* ObjC/C/C++/Java - 5+ years of experience
* Writing Technical Specification and Documentation - 5+ years of experience
