Job Description

Overview

Group Project Supervisors oversee and manage multiple projects across multiple clients and brands. They supervise and are expected to manage the development of and approve all workflow timelines for assigned clients and brands based on important deadlines. The GPS contributes to the creative process by assessing feasibility of the proposed solutions and by recommending new and innovative technologies. Will manage other team members to ensure successful execution of projects both for clients and for internal DDB Health projects, including approval of final billing and reconciliation. In addition, is expected to write and maintain organized, complete, accurate, and concise reports for both internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

* Proactively communicate changes• Monitor staffing needs• Monitor weekly financial tracking and monthly financial reconciliation for all brands within purview and own both for any core brands• Monitor quarterly financial forecasting for all brands within purview and own this for any core brands, managing up on revenue risks• Build and maintain positive relationships with the clients and colleagues• Mastery of communication skills• Can speak confidently about technical solutions, usability, and data integration/fulfillment• Skilled at influencing and persuading both internal and external clients• Represent Project Management in the presentation of recommendations and technical options• Proactively create solutions and anticipate internal issues• Ensure that the team knows and follows established procedures, including agency process, client technical requirements, and client procedures• Lead by example and provide guidance and support to junior staff• Responsible for the quality and consistency of work across the department• Knowledgeable about multiple platforms, industry trends, and agency-wide initiatives• Partner with other departments to shape process and communicate changes, and partner with development to recommend forward-thinking competitive offerings• Forward facing view-point to anticipate all client and departmental needs• Actively pursue technical knowledge, including emerging technologies• Partner with other disciplines to maintain repository of knowledge on industry opportunities• Able to manage and work independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects, and to manage and delegate to freelance and/or junior team members

Qualifications• College degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications, or science/medicine• 5+ years of agency or comparable experience• Effective and professional communication, with both internal and external team members• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills• Strong financial acumen• Mentor to other members of department/team• Leader both internally and externally; ability to convey confidence without overpromising• Solid verbal/written communications skills; good critical thinking skills; be a creative, innovative, enthusiastic problem solver; and exhibit strong mentoring, teamwork and client service orientation• Full understanding of all tactical initiatives• Team-oriented• Self-motivated and self-starter
