Job Description

Group Lead, IT, Logistics - Global

DUTIES: Serve as project manager for SAP Logistics and Transportation information technology (IT) projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Work directly with Logistics and Transportation business leads and managers to identify and prioritize work activities. Assist with defining of project roadmap and execution plan. Drive estimates to support project roadmap activities. Define project schedules, milestones, and resource plans. Responsible for the delivery small enhancement and transportation IT projects. Review/ approve risk assessments and mitigation measures for projects. Conduct regular project reviews, and identify risks and issues. Lead and guide the work of a team of IT professionals.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field of study, and ten (10) years of experience in a related occupation. Work experience or academic coursework must have included: Configuration, deployment, and project management of SAP Order to Cash and/or Logistics functionality; Utilizing SAP functional modules for Logistics Execution, Sales and Distribution, and Warehouse Management; Utilizing RedPrairie warehouse management software; Integrating SAP with EDI technologies; Implementing and integrating SAP to a Transportation Management Solution; and Leading a team of functional and technical resources including offshore resources.
