We are currently looking for a Graphics Programmer to join our team in New York.

As a Graphics Programmer, you will be responsible for the development of real-time shaders and render pipelines. You will collaborate with creatives, designers, technical artists and developers in the creation of high-fidelity real-time visual content, for both client projects and internal tools. In addition to familiarity with one or more game engines, you will have experience with lower-level graphics APIs such as OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan or Metal and shading languages such as GLSL/HLSL. You will have a strong understanding of the GPU rendering pipeline for shader development and the mathematics involved. You will be familiar with common performance bottlenecks and optimization techniques.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

* Develop custom shaders and rendering techniques for bespoke real-time content, continuously assessing visual quality.
* Collaborate directly with technical artists, creative directors, designers, producers.
* Be able to articulate technically complex concepts concisely for non-technical collaborators and clients.
* Profile and optimize frame render times.
* Be forward thinking to keep up to date on current techniques, research, graphics data, hardware, etc.

Required skills, knowledge and experience:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or similar field.
* A minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
* Experience with graphics API like DirectX/OpenGL/Vulkan/Metal.
* Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity or any proprietary game engine.
* Fluency in C++ and/or C#.Experience with both desktop and mobile GPU rendering.
* Familiarity with known physically-based shading models.
* Able to self-direct and comfortable with rapid prototyping and iteration.
* Able to think creatively outside the box.Experience working in interdisciplinary teams.
* Ability to collaborate and communicate under tight deadlines.
* Strong time management & organization skills.
