Job Description

About this role:

* Work in collaboration with Motorola technical and product delivery teams to design and develop test strategies, methodologies and approach for implementation of mission critical communication systems.
* Review product and solution requirements specifications and generate test documents including scheduling, resources, configuration and test equipment to support the activities required to deliver testing within time, cost and quality constraints.
* Analyse data gathered from the testing and provide recommendations for the business to follow up.
* Presentations to customers and Motorola business units on the product / solution readiness for operational deployment.
* Design and develop software and hardware to automate testing for systems, devices and applications.
* Undertake verification, validation and testing activities on test environments.
* Participate in high profile customer witnessed test events and contract negotiation meetings.
* Management, co-ordination and execution of test activities to a level of quality expected by the public safety community.
* Participation in customer and supplier meetings to define the scope of the test coverage required.
* Work in collaboration with all relevant parties to undertake user acceptance testing on the live operational network from police, fire and ambulance control rooms as part of the operational acceptance of the delivered service.
* Perform software and hardware integration, testing and diagnostics activities including design and development of stubs, emulators and test tools.
