We are currently seeking a GPU Mobile Edge Engineer for our client in the Telecom domain. Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Role: GPU Mobile Edge Engineer

Primary Skills: Mobile Engineering

Role Description: The GPU Mobile Edge Engineer would need to have at least 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

* Research, prototype and implement aspects of the GPU cloud computing platform.
* Develop and support applications and APIs using this platform on Android, iOS and PC.
* Perform CPU and GPU performance profiling and optimization.
* Actively maintain your skills and knowledge by keeping track of the latest trends within the industry.
* Promote, foster and lead innovation within the team to improve and grow our technology base.

Must Have Skills:

* An expert in C++ with experience or willingness to learn the other languages we are exposed to such as JavaScript, Java, Go and Python.
* Experience developing mobile applications on Android or iOS.
* Exceptional problem solving and debugging skills.
* Familiarity with many tools and environments used in development. e.g., CMake, Git, Perforce, Jenkins etc.
* Experience with memory management, multi-threading and low-level optimization.
* 3+ years of relevant professional experience developing commercial products in a team environment with at least one released product.

Desired Skills:

* Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack and AWS cloud infrastructure.
* 3D Graphics APIs - DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan or equivalent.
* Have written GPU code utilizing HLSL, GLSL, CUDA or OpenCL.
* Experience with containerized and virtualized GPUs.
* Knowledge of game engines such as Unity and Unreal.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Math, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
