SAIC, in support of the Global Positioning System (GPS) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team is looking for a Schedule Analyst with experience in Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs. The SE&I Team provides specialized engineering, analysis, operations support, and subject matter expertise to the GPS Directorate. Major duties of the position include:
* Development, analysis, and maintainability of Integrated Master Schedules * Assist in development and maintenance of the Enterprise Master Schedule (EMS) - a product linking multiple schedule products and a database of Giver/Receiver dependencies * Work with client teams, program managers, subject matter experts, and senior-level teammates to acquire schedule data used in developing, maintaining, status, and reporting for multiple projects * Identification, documentation and management of key schedule dependencies between segments, development contractors, and external stakeholders * Analysis of primary/secondary critical paths and margin * Creation of automated templates and reports using third-party tools and custom scripts * Interfacing with client, support contractors, external stakeholder organizations, and SE&I teammates to brief schedule content * Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience executing program planning and/or project scheduling. Experience will be accepted in lieu of degree. * 2 years' experience with MS Project * Ability to obtain Security Clearance * Knowledge of common schedule analysis techniques, methods and off-the-shelf tools * Proven experience building templates to produce automated schedule reports, schedule summary views, and briefing charts * Capable of performing work under general direction to collect and synthesize data across project teams. * Effective communication skills including briefings and refining details in written documentation
