Responsibilities

* Engage and work closely with Product Management, Engineering, & other cross-functional teams at an early stage of the product development process.
* Understand product requirements, create test plans & procedures with a keen focus on end user experience.
* Contribute to the field testing & performance qualification of state of the art Topcon GNSS receivers and other positioning sensors.
* Support existing products, troubleshoot reported issues, and function as a product expert interfacing with various teams within the company.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering discipline with 2+ years of related experience.
* Prior experience in a positioning/mapping/surveying industry or related field and/or combined with a degree in Geomatics/GNSS discipline will be preferred.
* Experience in working with GNSS and related positioning solutions including hardware and field and office application software.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Ability to create, analyze and present product performance metrics utilizing data generated from various positioning sensors (GNSS, INS, Imaging, LiDar etc.).
* Previous development experience for scripting using MATLAB/R/Python is a plus.
* Problem solving skills through critical analysis and reasoning will be required of this role.
* Good oral and verbal communication skills are mandatory to interact with product, project teams and customers located at different geographical locations across the world.
* Some Travel (~25%) to visit customer sites, and internal teams is expected.
