The Global Cybersecurity and Technology Controls ("CTC") functions are responsible for the governance and oversight of the Information Security Program, which is designed to securely enable new business and technology initiatives while maintaining a relentless focus on protecting the Firm and its clients/customers. Within CTC, the Governance and Controls group is responsible for overseeing all firm wide work related to technology policies and standards, controls, executive reporting, second and third lines of defense engagement, supervisory and regulatory oversight, and government and Cybersecurity partnerships, as well as regional leadership within CTC.

The Technology Regulatory Engagement function is a CTC group that provides support for all Global Technology groups in these areas: regulatory relationship management, examination management, proactive regulator communications and regulatory content management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate is an experienced IT Risk / Controls / Security Management / Program Management professional with a solid foundation in global Regulator Relationship Management (including direct engagement and communications), who has also experience in or a strong understanding of communicating IT risk programs to external customers.

The role requires shared responsibility for 3 key areas across supervisory engagement for global technology:

* Regulatory Exam Management


* Regulatory Response Management


* Global Technology Regulatory Strategic Initiatives



Regulatory Exam Management

* End-to-end Management of technology-focused regulatory examinations
* Mange relationship with the Banks's primary Regulatory agencies
* Reporting to management functions and committees as required
* Review and coordination materials to be delivered to regulators for examinations
* Manage coordination of meetings, logistics and all deliverables with the business, control teams and Legal & Compliance stakeholders for examinations.
* Liaise with business partners in providing requested information; maintain records and reports of meetings and ensure follow-up
* Assist in the preparation written responses to Supervisory Letters

Regulatory Response Management

* End-to-end Management of technology-focused regulatory requests for information
* Reporting to management functions and committees on response actions
* Review and coordination materials to be delivered to regulators
* Manage coordination of deliverables with the business, control teams and Legal & Compliance stakeholders for information requests
* Liaise with business partners to provide requested information; maintain & ensure follow-up
* Assist in the preparation of written responses to regulatory requests
* Develop repeatable processes to facilitate standardization of regulatory response globally

Global Technology Regulatory Strategic Initiatives

* Development of a plan for achieving strategic vision for the regulatory function
* Manage and drive allocated plan components per agreed allocation*
* Drive the implementation of a revised global Technology Supervisory Management Framework
* detailed plan components TBC

Other Essential functions of this role:

Partnership:

* Effectively partner with all levels of personnel within LOBs, Legal, Compliance and Internal Audit
* Operate as a team and in partnership with technology and business teams to maximize the quality, integration and effectiveness of the risk management coverage.
* Partner with business-aligned risk managers, sharing the common goal of providing a well-controlled operating environment to maximize value to our shareholders.
* Build effective relationships quickly and grow a network of support globally for projects of varying sizes and durations - particularly with areas outside of one's control.

Communication:

* Provide strategic advice, communications and regular updates to management regarding significant matters being handled
* Communicate concisely and effectively with all levels of the organization including technologists and business personnel including the usage of business relevant terms to describe tech risk.
* Bachelor's degree in related technology field


* 7+ years of experience in Technology Governance, Risk Management and Controls, Cybersecurity or related fields. Experience within financial services areas is preferred.


* 5+ years of experience in an Internal/External Audit, Technology Controls, Regulatory and/or Operational Audit position


* Strong understanding of Information Security, Risk, Controls and Audit management.


* Detail oriented self-starter with strong conceptual, analytical, decision making, planning, time management and prioritization skills.


* Ability to communicate oral and written ideas in a clear, concise manner, at all levels of the organization.


* Extensive experience with deep-dive control reviews to identify process and control breaks


* Ability to work independently and proactively to accomplish multiple objectives concurrently


* Demonstrated success working across Lines of Business, countries and regions, balancing the needs of multiple organizations


* Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to any level of management


* Experience with working with virtual teams / teams geographically distributed is required


* Knowledge of FFIEC, CAT, NIST, COBIT and ITIL (desired)


* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related Technology field with CISA, CISM, CRISC or CISSP certifications (preferred)
