Job Description: Global Technology Recovery Analyst

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the Technology Recovery portion of Brink's Global Business Continuity Program. This involves providing oversight of technology recovery activities and deliverables; ensuring compliance with Global Technology Policies and providing assistance and support in the improvement of technology recovery capabilities.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the Global technology recovery program in accordance with Global BC policies

2. Work with country-level IT leaders to ensure current and accurate data is collected regarding existing technology recovery capabilities

3. Use Global BC Metrics to provide country-level business leaders a clear understanding of the ability to recover technology-based services

4. Work with country-level teams and Brink's Global Risk and Compliance Team to ensure internal and external requirements (regulations, customer contractual obligations, etc.) are satisfied.

5. Coordinate technology recovery exercise activities, ensuring change requests are submitted and completed in a timely manner by IT owners as well as internal and external communications are developed and disseminated to appropriate parties

6. Identify opportunities to improve existing technology recovery capabilities

7. Provide guidance to Project Managers to ensure new initiatives conform to existing policies and contractual obligations.

8. As appropriate, provide support to IT owners in the development / implementation of recovery capabilities that satisfy Global policies and applicable regulatory or customer requirements.

9. Participate in Global Business Continuity initiatives and provide backup to Global Business Continuity team-members

Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Successful candidate will be expected to:

* Be fluent in English
* Speak with all levels of staff and management about Brink's BC program and technology recovery-related policies
* Have and maintain an understanding of new and emerging technologies as well as their inherent risks, benefits and challenges as related to recovery capability
* Provide guidance on the proper implementation, documentation, testing and execution of recovery strategies
* Develop and deliver documentation for internal and external partners demonstrating Brink's compliance with both internal policies as well as customer requirements

Analytical skills. Successful candidate will be expected to:

* Use various tools to measure and evaluate the ability of Brink's to effectively recover technology systems from disruptive events.
* Help identify opportunities to improve Brink's technology recovery capabilities
* Explain Brink's technology recovery capabilities to internal and external auditors

Global skills and experience. Successful candidate will be expected to:

* Have a current passport and be able to obtain Visas for work travel, as appropriate
* Be able to speak collaboratively with IT and business leaders and counterparts from other countries
* Have some understanding of cultural differences in regions outside of native country

Project Management experience a plus. Successful candidate should:

* Be familiar with common project management processes and terminology
* Utilize common project management related tools and processes to successfully manage technology recovery initiatives
* Work with project managers to ensure all initiatives include consideration of technology recovery related requirements and priorities

ITIL Foundations knowledge a plus

Experience and familiarity with Process Improvement / LEAN methodology a plus.

Experience with Service-Now a plus

Experience or familiarity with Adaptive Business Continuity practices a bonus.
