Global Content Project Manager

Amazon Global Fulfillment Services (AGFS) is seeking an organized and motivated editorial project manager to function at the center of a dynamic team of content professionals, who own marketing and operational content supporting the third-party sellers on Amazon's online stores.

About the role

The Global Content Project Manager for AGFS Marketing & Editorial maintains a detailed knowledge of technical and marketing content in the editorial queue. The PM clarifies requirements with stakeholders, identifies legal and PR concerns, liaises with partner teams, and prepares content hand offs. The successful applicant will guide the editorial and production leads to help prioritize and plan for upcoming work. The position requires the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects and quickly react to urgent projects requiring faster-than-normal turnarounds.

We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, engaged candidates who have deep experience in both technical and marketing communications distribution channels and are savvy about localization and global content development. In this role, you will be charged with providing detailed management of global content in a fast-paced environment, including aggressive SLAs. You have experience managing content generated for global audiences and will work diligently to plan, track, coordinate and communicate on projects spanning cross-functional teams and ensure projects are launched on time while maintaining high content quality. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the overall seller experience in Amazon's online stores globally. You have solid experience with the intricacies of content localization, familiarity with I18N guidelines, translations, understanding of geopolitical and cultural concerns and world-readiness as it pertains to content development and publication. As the lead for each project, you will build trust by giving our clients excellent customer service by managing expectations and requests with diplomacy. You have a keen eye for detail and will manage conflicting requests and provide suggestions to better message our sellers. You will also project manage other requests as needed.

Responsibilities for this role include:

* Track and prioritize all incoming ticket requests
* Help guide and clarify requesters' requirements
* Prepare tickets for hand off to legal/PR review, editorial, production and translation teams.
* Manage global stakeholders as the team's point of contact with business, legal, and technical product owners
* Advise stakeholders on global content performance and optimization practices
* Own the project management of small to large requests as needed
* Schedule and facilitate status meetings
* Provide direction to resources (internal and external), mitigate risk, and identify issues that require escalation
* Uncover pain points and implement process improvements
* Other duties as assigned
