The General Product & Agile Development Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, organizing, and tracking multiple projects for the TPL business, focusing on agile-based software development, capital fund management, and new product innovation. The PM will be responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility projects in a fast-paced environment including several cross-functional teams.

Role & Primary Responsibilities:

* Product Design - The ability to define the vision of new products and hold technology team accountable for delivering on the vision. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to define product scope, objectives, and technical feasibility; ensure appropriate resource availability and allocation; develop and maintain detailed product plans; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; perform ongoing risk assessment analyses
* Capital Funding Management - Work closely with business leaders to size and price development initiatives; create and maintain necessary capital funding request support documentation; handle day-to-day processes for capital fund tracking; ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
* Documentation Management - Create and maintain detailed documentation relevant to software development and other projects; develop and present visuals for process flows, timelines, assumptions, constraints, etc.; assist with the creation of other high and/or low-level business and system documentation, as needed
* Agile Development Lead - Lead requirements gathering sessions; create and maintain user stories; serve as a single point of contact between business and IT stakeholders; set and maintain development priorities; proactively identify and remove roadblocks; ensure regular and timely production of deliverables
* UAT Lead - Create and maintain acceptance criteria; Ability to verify / accept work produced by IT team performing some QA functions; organizing UAT with relevant stakeholders

Qualifications:

* 5+ years PM experience managing large, complex applications
* BA/BS or equivalent experience in third party liability or another relevant field
* Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
* Balanced business/technical abilities:
* Technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
* Ability to provide leadership to business analysts and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
* Knowledge of database (Oracle, SQL SERVER) fundamentals, AWS capabilities preferred
* Experience in UI/UX application design preferred


* Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
* Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
* Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:
* Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Cloud Coach, etc.
* Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
* Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
