Amazon is looking for a Gameplay Engineer to join an exciting new project. We are an innovative, cross-platform, customer-obsessed team, working on big-bets in an innovative environment. As a founding member of the team, you will work alongside production, design, and engineering to define and build the essential lovable experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working with game designers to create dynamic, robust and varied gameplay systems.

Some of the expectations of a senior gameplay engineer include:

o Creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance systems and tools to enable gameplay experiences.

o Helping to influence a new team of engineers, designers and artists as we define and deliver customer experiences.

o Working with design and other engineers to help the process through ideation and prototyping to implementation and testing
