Job Description

Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the digital advertising industry. We are seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Mobile team. The ideal candidate has experience with highly performant, raw Javascript as well as back-end distributed systems built in Java. You will be working with the product owner and the development team to design, build, test and maintain systems that are a central part of our ad verification products.

The Mobile team specializes in developing solutions to complex measurement and verification requirements for ads running in mobile apps. We build native libraries and apps for Android and iOS and also develop client side and server side software using technologies such as javascript, java, jasmine, python and use tools such as selenium, node, appium, sauce labs and etc.

What you'll do:

* Work within a fast paced, agile, cross-functional team to enhance our advertising verification and optimization platform, which processes several billion impressions per day
* Working through all stages of software delivery lifecycle from requirements refinement, development, testing, release & maintenance
* Develop production quality solutions on tight deadlines
* Support writing of automated component, unit and performance tests
* Support high level documentation

Who you are and What you have:

* A degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience
* 4+ years previous development experience in low-level Javascript
* 2+ years previous development experience in Java using frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
* Experience working in an agile team (Scrum or Kanban)
* Experience writing automated test suites at varying scopes (unit / component / functional)
* Experience working with automated build systems (grunt, gulp, maven, gradle, jenkins etc.)
* Experience working in an acceptance test driven development environment
* Good knowledge of SQL and databases like MySql
* Must be comfortable writing cross browser compatible JS
* Experience working with HTML / CSS
* A drive to learn new things, solve challenging problems and a self starter attitude

* Ad Tech experience
* Experience in debugging Javascript in Mobile Apps and Browsers
* NodeJs, Junit, Python, Jasmine, Spring Batch, WebDriver, Hadoop, Hive
* Experience with performance profiling JavaScript and Java applications
* Experience in building and maintaining custom DSLs for automated testing
* Experience in using web debugging tools such as Charles Proxy
