We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and experienced full stack developer for the Watson Assistant service.

Watson Assistant allows quick development, test and deployment of bots or virtual agents across different devices and messaging platforms. We are seeking engineers who are interested in learning Watson technology, enjoy working with people, and have the skills and passion for analyzing and resolving challenging technical problems. You will work in small agile teams (6-10 people), collaborate with user experience designers, product managers, and other (globally distributed) development teams to design and implement solutions for the Watson Assistant service.

The position requires skills and experience with web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js. Experience with agile development, software development tools and configuration management systems (preferably Git), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with globally distributed teams is also required.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree
* Fluent in English
* Minimum 3 years of web development experience with Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
* Experience with JavaScript development frameworks such as React & Angular
* Experience with server-side development with Node.js (preferred) or Java
* Readiness to 10% travel annually

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

* JavaScript framework, TypeScript
* Experience with Cloud and DevOps skills, e.g.: Kubernetes, Jenkins
