Job Description

This position is responsible for enhancing, maintaining, testing, documenting, and troubleshooting interfaces to our Company's suite of payment applications. This position is an integral part of our interface development and support teams.

Responsibilities include:

* Design, develop, extend, troubleshoot, and maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) interface software connecting Payment Suite product to our clients' systems, which reside on a diverse and growing set of ERP platforms, including Ellucian products, PeopleSoft and Oracle
* Perform advanced troubleshooting and debugging of the payment services product, interfaces and client systems setup
* Provide technical expertise to resolve client issues by working closely with other engineering teams, Deployment and Client Support staff.
* Work directly with ERP and third-party vendors and consultants to support, troubleshoot and extend our product line.
* Provide support and maintain technical documentation for training, installation and troubleshooting
* Full stack development (this requires knowledge of web frameworks)

This position is located at our Oakland, CA office. We are located in a professional office building near the Oakland Airport with only a quick 5 minute drive from Alameda

Skills/Requirements

* Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience.
* Ability to work directly with clients.
* At least 5 years software development experience with Java programming required, including server side business logic using Java and related frameworks, Java EE, OSGI - Karaf, Spring/Spring MVC, Hibernate, Shell scripting, Continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Maven, etc), Docker, Junit and unit testing
* Experience in JavaScript frameworks, AngularJS, Node.js
* Propose designs for complex features with reusability, maintainability, and performance in mind
* Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision, is a team player and a self-starter
* Oracle Database (or) Microsoft SQL experience
* Experience in web technologies and standards like web services (REST/SOAP), JSON, XML/XSL. web portals and security
* Ability to successfully train and make presentation to clients and colleagues
