Leidos Spatial Solutions team has an opening for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to create and modify cloud computing analytics developed for an open source analytics web application currently in development. This postion is lcoated in Chantilly, VA; Alexandria, VA; OR Gaithersburg, MD.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities will involve using Scala, Java, and python analytic development integrated with Apache Spark on an AWS Elastic Map reduce cluster. Modifications to the analytics will incorporate unit and build testing practices. Additional duties include the creation, modification and population of data stores and schemas within PostGreSQL, Apache Cassandra, ElasticSearch, and AWS S3 bucket storage. This role includes documentation of new and existing functionality within software version control repositories (gitlab) and utilizing DevOps principals and tools (Jenkins) to deliver new features within an Agile construct

Minimum Qualifications:

* Requires BS degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience; OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
* Must currently possess an active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a Polygraph post hire
* Experience in either software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.
* At least 4 years of experience programming with Java, Scala, or python
* At least 1 year experience working with machine learning or deep learning libraries in Python (sklearn, Tensor Flow)
* At least 2 years of experience with a NoSQL database management system such as Cassandra or ElasticSearch
* Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
* Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context.

Preferred Qualifications:

* TS/SCI with Polygraph
* At least 1 year experience working with machine learning or deep learning libraries in Python (sklearn, Tensor Flow)
* At least 2 years of experience work with natural language processing tools and concepts (i.e. tokenization)
* At least 2 years of experience implementing pseudocode from research papers into analytics within a system
* At least 1 year experience with configuration management tools (i.e. Puppet, Chef, or Ansible)
* At least 2 years of experience studying or conversing in a foreign language
* AWS Solutions or DevOps certification
* Team Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Hipchat/RocketChat/Mattermost)
