Full-Stack Engineer, Growth (DIY.org)

Job Description

DIY.org produces online courses for kids about creative skills and careers of the future. We're looking to add a full-stack engineer to focus on growth initiatives. As our first non-product engineer, we're looking for someone who thrives when collaborating with other teams, seeks an opportunity to work within a tight feedback loop, and is prepared to contribute to our front- and back-end applications.

Skills/Experience you'll need:

* 3 years of production-ready web engineering experience
* Proficiency in Javascript, HTML & CSS
* Experience writing automated tests
* Proficiency in writing SQL queries
* Experience in working with business/growth tools or 3rd party libraries
* Examples: Intercom, Google Tag Manager, Heap


* Passion for building features and tools that have a dramatic impact on company growth
* High degree of customer empathy

Nice to have:

* Experience running A/B tests
* Experience with React
* Experience with GraphQL
