Job Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build creative web based applications for Adobe Spark, the product that allows everyone the ability to quickly and easily craft beautifully designed stories.

You'll be working as part of a team, building innovative new features and maintaining existing ones on the Spark Page application. You will need a keen eye for details and high standards for design, code quality, and efficiency. People who enjoy taking on complex technical challenges, have a real passion for delighting customers, and who are self-motivated to push themselves in a team oriented culture will thrive in our environment.

What you'll do

* Translate visual and written designs into efficient front end web components


* Design, architect, code, and implement services/components in NodeJS


* Work closely with designers to come up with simple yet powerful authoring interfaces


* Optimize the performance of the authoring environment and generated output


* Contribute to core editor code that is shared across browsers and platforms



What you need to succeed

* BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
* 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and web technologies
* Experience with Backbone, React, Angular, or similar technologies
* Experience with asynchronous programming and event handling using Promises
* Experience building applications on NodeJS


* Experience managing Grunt/Webpack build environments


* Experience writing code with performance and user experience in mind across multiple platforms


* Knowledge of Amazon Web Services


* Knowledge of security best practices (e.g. SQL injection, XSS and other exploits)
