Job Description
The Enterprise IT group at the Washington Post is seeking a direct hire or a contract to hire Software Engineer for their DC office. This is an exciting opportunity with the Engineering Team at the Post and to work with some exciting and innovative technology.
Requirements / Job Duties:
* Strong team player, technologist with experience with multiple platforms/systems development and integration
* Full stack - Node JS, Java, RDS (MySQL), Python, JavaScript, Angular/react(preferable)
* Familiarity with AWS architecture and features, devops model
* Preferable has worked in an Agile environment
* Some inclination/interest in Data Science AI and ML, IoT, Chatbots, RPA
* Computer Science/computer Engineering background preferred but not required
