Full Stack Development Fall Intern

Duration: 3 months (begins Sep 2019)

This is a hands-on development internship position with Simulink Certification and Standards team at MathWorks.You'll be working closely with the development team to prototype features for the product in JavaScript, HTML\CSS and node. Your focus as a Web Development Intern will be growing your skills, developing best practices and familiarizing yourself with various web frameworks by assisting on frontend and backend.

Responsibilities

This position offers you the opportunity to:

* Contribute to cutting edge web application using HTML, JavaScript, and MATLAB
* Participate in the architectural aspects of the project, with an emphasis on OO design principles
* Analyze and produce dashboards to show model based metrics
* Experience MathWorks design, specification, and development process
* Learn valuable software design skills relevant to any software project

Minimum Qualifications

* Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.

Additional Qualifications

* Experience with REST services
* Experience with HTML5
* Experience with CSS
