In this role, you have the opportunity to

Help shape the rapidly growing healthcare market. As a Full Stack Developer you will be challenged to design and develop early stage healthcare software solutions in a fast paced, agile team.

You are responsible for

* Working as part of a global agile entrepreneurial core team that is encouraged to take calculated business risks, make independent decisions, and pivot fast as needed to build a minimal viable product
* Contributing to the design and development of solutions in early stages of the product lifecycle
* Spending time with innovators and early adopters to define, design, create and pilot new solutions
* Collaborating with cross functional teams including Design, Marketing and Quality/Regulatory
* You will also be responsible for incorporating feedback from customer into the development process.

You are a part of

The Venture team within the Radiology Solutions business unit located in Bothell, WA/Seattle, WA. Our team runs a portfolio of strategic ventures within the Radiology healthcare specialty at Philips. These entrepreneurial enterprises are run as startups within our Integrated Radiology portfolio, with a mandate to design, develop, and deliver minimal viable solutions in targeted growth segments. You will be a part of the core team within a new venture, and this position will report to the Venture Leader.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

* Bachelors or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information systems or equivalent
* 5+ years of relevant experience in a successful product development role
* Expertise in full stack development for mission critical applications with knowledge of front end, back end and middleware application development
* Experience in the application of complex health technology or data enabled SaaS/PaaS offerings
* Proficient in HTML5/CSS3, Javascript, React experience highly desired
* Familiarity with the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and Git
* Experience with scalable data analytics tools for ETL, database storage and retrieval, business logic, analysis, and presentation
* Experience developing in a Linux environment, relational databases and ORM
* Strong team player, experience working with diverse cross-functional international teams
* Ability to anticipate and effectively react to engineering, product and customer issue

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the healthcare industry, especially radiology
* Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Erlang, D3.js, or RabbitMQ
* Working knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3)
