We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Front-end UI Developer to join our team in Alexandria, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Description and Responsibilities:

Senior software engineer with experience building rich Internet applications for web and mobile using an Angular 2+ technology stack and multi-device development frameworks such as Cordova. Candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Manage multiple assignments independently, and provide technical expertise/mentoring to a larger team. Primary responsibilities will be designing, testing and building end-to-end rich Internet applications (web or hybrid) using Angular 2+, Ajax, and restful web services and mobile apps to meet customer requirements and goals. Must be familiar with Agile methodology. Excellent written and oral communications skills are essential for this role.

Requirements

Required Skills:

* Strong JavaScript/Typescript and object oriented programming experience
* Dynamic application development experience using Angular 2+, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, Webpack, Material Design, SASS, and Node.JS
* Experience working in an Agile team environment.
* Experience writing unit tests for development code.
* Ability to work with external teams to resolve testing issues and bug fixes.
* Use and management of Git source code repository
* Development of automated unit and integration test scripts
* Creation of builds using Jenkins
* Provide O&M Support for deployed functionality
* Ability to obtain a federal security clearance

Desired Skills:

* Experience with following technologies: JavaScript, Typescript, Angular 2+, Jasmine, Karma, Node.JS, Webpack, Tomcat, Cordova, iOS, Android, Windows, GIT, Java, Spring, JPA, RESTful, Eclipse, SOAP, Weblogic, Gradle
* Experience using AJAX to consume REST and SOAP web services
* Knowledge of designing accessibility / section 508 compliant web sites
* Experience using Node.JS and Webpack to build or run web/hybrid applications

Position Requirements:

Master's Degree and minimum 15 years of related experience or equivalent

US Citizen

CBP-BI Clearance or ability to obtain one
